All students at Reigate College are encouraged to take part in the College’s Activities Programme.
This is a fantastic programme that offers students the chance to get involved in a huge variety of extra-curricular clubs and activities that take place during timetabled ‘activity periods’ or after College.
The list of activities changes each term, but includes a mix of skill-based activities (e.g. Photoshop and Debating), recreational sports (e.g. Badminton and Netball) and subject specific activities (like Music Theory and Technical Theatre). The College has also recently launched a new Tennis Club in collaboration with Reigate Priory Lawn Tennis Club, with funding from Active Surrey, that's free for members of staff and students.

Involvement in the programme can help students become more attractive to higher education institutions and employers, but above all, taking part is a great way of meeting new people, learning some new skills and having fun!
Most activities are open to all students (subject to numbers) and students can sign up to as many as they can accommodate in their timetables. It is recommended that all students sign up to at least one activity.
‘Activities Fairs’ are held at the beginning of the Autumn Term (in the Refectory during lunchtimes) where students can find out what's on offer and talk to specific activity leaders.
Most activities run during timetabled ‘activities periods’ on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when students have an extended lunch period.
