Employability and Employment Opportunities

Each year the College successfully supports around 400 students through the process of applying to Apprenticeships, College Leaver Schemes and direct entry positions.

Through the structured Tutorial Programme and progression events students will explore all of their options post-college.  Students are encouraged to connect with a variety of employability sessions to identify their interests and strengths and to demystify the world of work.

Students have the opportunity to:

  • Attend Employability sessions covering mock interview, assessment centres and psychometric tests.
  • Find out about the different options open to College Leavers
  • Attend talks by local and national companies regarding opportunities for College leavers
  • Explore the routes into industries/professions that do not require a degree
  • Receive help in completing applications.
  • Request a practise interview.
  • Attend Company ‘insight days’
  • Complete a period of work experience
  • Attend a Careers Fair at College to connect with Employers offering opportunities to College Leavers.
  • Engage with National Apprenticeship week
  • Connect with the Reigate College alumni
