Reigate College is one of the largest providers of students to the university system in the UK, with around five hundred students attaining places each year, including medical schools and all the top universities. Note: the Russell Group is a group of 24 research-intensive universities in the UK. Sutton 30 universities include those in the Russell Group along with other highly competitive universities such as Bath and Royal Holloway.

  • The College holds the Investor in Careers Award – a quality standard for the management of careers education and guidance (CEG) in schools and FE colleges.

Reigate College has extremely good relationships with the FE provider East Surrey College, working alongside it, to ensure students make informed and balanced decisions about their sixth form education. 


The College works closely with each of its seven partner schools Carrington, de Stafford, Merstham Park School,  Oakwood, Reigate, The Beacon School and The Priory School to help guide students onto the courses and programmes that best match their abilities and aspirations.


The College is also part of the S7 group, a collective of Colleges committed to pursuing excellence through collaboration. Established in 2002, other current members include: Bexhill College, BHASVIC, Collyer’s College, Esher College, Godalming College, Varndean College and Woking College.


The college also aims to work in a spirit of support and co-operation with other local state and private schools and colleges, to bring about the best possible educational outcomes for 16-19 year olds in South East Surrey. These include St. Bede’s School, Royal Alexandra and Albert School, The Ashcombe School, Oxted School, Rosebery, Woodcote School, Riddlesdown Collegiate,  Warlingham School, Reigate Grammar School, Boxhill School and Dunottar School, to name but a few.


Reigate College is a member of the Sixth Form Colleges Association, which is the authoritative voice of sixth form education in England. It has been representing the interests of Sixth Form Colleges since 1993 and all 90 Sixth Form Colleges in England are members. SFCA is the home of dedicated 16–19 providers and represents a growing number of 16–19 academies, 16–19 schools, and 16–19 free schools.


Reigate College works closely with The University of Law to ensure that students interested in studying law have the support they need to achieve their aspirations. This includes opportunities to attend law taster events and to access advice about university applications and solicitor apprenticeships. Reigate students are also eligible for The University of Law’s “Law for All” scholarships and bursaries.
